1. How do you define the modern woman?
The modern woman is not afraid to be alone. She is leading a purpose-driven life, and she knows her own strengths and also her own limits. She knows when she has to simply go to bed with a good book because life is overwhelming. She tries to balance family and work, but sometimes she knows that it's impossible so she doesn't beat herself up. She carries her life experience with her - the scars and the triumphs. She knows, by a certain age, what she will never be - but also, she never stops reinventing herself, and rising to challenges.

2. How do you curate your wardobe?
The simpler the better, and the higher quality the better: which is why I love the Curated. I travel all the time so it has to be packed well in a small suitcase. It has to be elegant, but it has to fit well and work with my lifestyle. I can't wear sky high stilettos anymore - but I can wear a perfect pencil skirt, a ribbed sweater that fits perfectly, and a well-fitted coat. I love the colors of the curated - greys, camels, off-white, maroon.
3. What are your favourite curated pieces?
I live in the Classic Coat, which I have in camel, and once had in black. I throw it over anything - from jeans to a silk dress and it always makes me feel like a million bucks. Right now, I am wearing the mock neck in camel now as I type away - it's another classic. The Norma bag is on my wish list as is the classic crew in navy or cream. All of Nicola's pieces are modern classics - you can move from the board room or a conference to a Saturday at home with the family.
