Laundering of cashmere should be conducted sparingly to preserve the delicate fabrication. In the instance of stains, we recommend our cashmere to be laundered with a gentle dry cleaning.

Machine washing should occur with a delicate, no spin hand wash setting. Where possible, a laundry bag is advised to place your cashmere garment in. We recommend a temperature no higher than 30°C.

Hand Washing should occur in cold water with a mild detergent or ideally a cashmere detergent. Please avoid fabric softeners when hand washing your garment.

Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric; instead, press out excess water and lay it flat on a towel to air dry. Please do not hang your cashmere garment to dry.

Ironing

Turn the garment inside out and lay it flat. If ironing, set the iron to a low temperature (no higher than 150 °C) and place a damp cloth between the iron and the fabric to avoid direct contact.

Steaming

When using a handheld steamer, keep some distance between the steamer’s hot surface and the garment to protect the delicate fibers.

Cashmere should be store folded, away from direct sunlight in a cool and dry space. Please do not hang your cashmere garments, as this will compromise the structural integrity of your piece and lead to stretching. As with all natural fibre garments, we recommend storing your garment with moth or cedar balls to prevent moth damage.

Cashmere is a delicate fibre and pilling will naturally occur during the course or wear, especially on the sleeves or where there may be friction. To preserve the longevity of your cashmere piece, we recommend a gentle de-pilling once every few wears.
